Hello, Brenda!
Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for your question! Your upcoming
Walt Disney World Vacation is just around the corner, and you chose a great time to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth!
I am happy to inform you that, at this time, a park reservation is not required to visit a water park. This is subject to change, but if you visit
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park page and scroll down to the Know Before You Go section, you will see if this policy has been updated. So, as long as you have purchased a
Disney Water Park Ticket, have the Park Hopper Plus Option, or the Water Park and Sports Option for your tickets, you will be good to go!
Since you are headed to my favorite Disney water park, I would love to make suggestions. Aside from enjoying the Surf Pool and Humunga Kowabunga, you should take some time to relax in Castaway Creek. And after you do, be sure to treat yourself to a delicious beverage from
Let’s Go Slurpin’. My personal favorite is the Piña CoLAVA, but my wife swears by the Hang Ten Mojito. For a quick bite, hit up
Surf Doggies for a hot dog or Mickey Preztle.
Cowabunga, Brenda and surfs up!
Brent
