We have reservations for two character dining experiences-1900 Park Fare dinner, and a Princess Story Book lunch...my daughter would like to dress as her favorite princess for each of these meals, would it be considered inappropriate for her to do so?

    Hi Molly,

This is not inappropriate at all!  She will fit in just perfectly, in fact if she wants to wear her princess dresses to the parks, even then she would "fit in". You have no idea how many children come to Walt Disney World dressed up in their outfits as princesses or pirates, etc...etc..  This is definitely the place to do it at.  If you ask my niece(4 years old), who lives in Cranbrook, British Columbia, she will tell you that anywhere is the perfect place to wear your princess dress (and I do mean anywhere...bed, shopping, her brothers school, taking the dog for a walk, bath time, etc..!!!).  When you venture out for the day, I would suggest if your daughter is dressed up, that you just bring a spare set of "casual" clothes and shoes for her to wear when she gets tired and hot...many parents I have met made this mistake and then end up with a cranky, hot and tired princess instead!!!!

Best of luck and have a magical experience!
