    If I make 2:30 reservations at Tusker's will we be able to see the end of the parade as it circles back around to Africa? What is the best way to do this? Would you rather eat and see the characters or eat the next day at Mama Melroses??? Thanks!!

    Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    The Tusker House Restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants.  In my opinion, this is the best way to grab some great photos with many fun and classic Disney characters.  Even before you enter the restaurant, Safari Donald Duck is waiting to greet you and your family.  As a rule of thumb, you should always allow an hour to an hour and a half for character dining.  Characters have a large space to cover and times may vary. Many guests want those autographs and pictures and I do not blame them. With all this being said, I would highly recommend setting your reservation at the Tusker House Restaurant and saving yourself some time waiting in character lines.  I always dine here with every Walt Disney World visit in order to check these classic Disney characters off my list.  Eat and enjoy the characters!

    Now should you finish dining early, you may catch a small glimpse of the parade as it is coming to an end. However, the streets will be filled with guests that have secured a spot and trying to catch a glance over them may prove to be very difficult.  I would highly recommend setting your lunch reservation for an earlier time in order for you and your family to secure a great spot yourselves.  The parades are simply MAGICAL and I would not want you to miss them!
