We have reservations at Tusker House at 8:45am on a Early Magic Hours day. Will we have time if we are there before it opens to ride the safari first? What are the chances of us then making it to the Lion King 10am show? Am I pushing the limits?

    Hi Kolby,

Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel to ask your question. I'm sure you are so excited about your upcoming November Walt Disney World vacation.

With Advanced Dining Reservations at Tusker House Restaurant, a plan to ride Kilimanjaro Safaris and see Festival of the Lion King all in one morning, I can truly say you are one ambitious guest! Since there will be Extra Magic Hours during the morning of your reservation, I would suggest arriving at Disney's Animal Kingdom during park opening to experience Kilimanjaro Safaris first thing. The attraction is only about 18 to 20 minutes, so by experiencing it early, you'll be able to give yourself time to stand in the queue, if need be. You'll also give you and your family time to arrive at Tusker House Restaurant for your reservation without rushing. Who knows? You may see Mickey walking about, and have time for a few family photos!

For Festival of the Lion King, I would suggest that you attend the 11:00am show. Your delicious breakfast at Tusker House may take up to 90 minutes, so adding the 11:00am show to your itinerary will give you time to enjoy your meal, the ambiance, and most of all, your family.

I hope this answered your question, Kolby. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us at any time. We're always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
