We have reservations at Trattoria Al Forno for breakfast next week. We are staying at the Poly. What is the best and easiest way to get there? Traveling with a party of 9 (4 adults, 5 kids) so uber and lyft may not be an option.

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Megan! You are counting down the hours until your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and I’m so, so excited for you!

A few weeks ago I traveled with a large extended family group to The Most Magical Place On Earth, and we had so much fun! Snow White was really on to something – the more, the merrier! You are going to have a blast at the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno, where the breakfast food items are delicious and the character interactions are fantastic.

Megan, I’m not sure when your breakfast reservation is, but your best bet might be to take the boat or monorail to Magic Kingdom Park and then catch Disney Bus Transportation to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. I would check with a Cast Member at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, as they will have the most up-to-date bus schedule for the coming week, and they have great inside knowledge about getting from place to place at Disney.

If you do want to take Uber, Lyft, or Disney Minnie Van Service, you could request two vehicles. If anyone in your party needs car seats, Minnie Vans are a great option, and they’re really so magical. Minnie Vans accommodate up to 6 Guests, and come equipped with 2 convertible car seats. The great thing is, you can open the Lyft app when you’re on Disney property and see both regular Lyft options and Minnie Vans, so you can compare prices. I consider Minnie Van pricing a splurge, but it’s also a fun, adorable, and comfortable way to travel.

I hope your group has the most magical holiday week at the Walt Disney World Resort, Megan! Let the magic begin!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
