We have reservations for Tomorrowland Terr dessert party. Can some of our party decide to go to the garden to view the fireworks? I am hearing the view is better from the garden. Can the younger folks go to the garden if they want?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Judith! It’s great to see you again!

Ending a magical day at Walt Disney World Resort with the sweet finale of a fireworks dessert party is a job well done, in my personal opinion! The Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace allows Guests a comfortable seated area to view the Happily Ever After Fireworks show after enjoying a buffet of sweets! Guests who opt for the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing will be escorted to the viewing area in front of Cinderella Castle (also known as “hub grass”) after the eating portion of the party. To answer your question, I would have to say “maybe”. However, if you are certain that some from your party would prefer the Plaza Garden option, I would make an Advanced Dining Reservation for them there, as it actually costs less than the seated option. Keep in mind that younger Guests must be accompanied by an adult. As I mentioned, the buffet portion is for all Guests so your party would still be together during this time. If you aren’t able to change your reservation or prefer to play it by ear, you can always ask a friendly Cast Member upon check-in for the dessert party if this is an option, but again, you are paying more than needed if you choose this option, and it may not be available if the Plaza Garden viewing area is at capacity.

I hope this answers your question and that you have a pixie-dusted day! See you again real soon,

    Jen
