Hello, Jenny Marie! We are so happy you decided to stop by planDisney to ask us a Magic Key question. Welcome!
One of the differences between the different Magic Key passes is the allowed number of reservations you are allowed to hold at any given time. This means for the Imagine Key, you can have two
theme park ticket reservations booked for future days in the park. You will not be able to reserve any additional days with your Magic Key if you already have two reservations booked. Once your first reservation day arrives and you scan into your first park for the day, you then can go in and book a new date for another reservation. This usually is a great option for the more local residents who usually do day trips and don't need to book more than a day or two at a time. If you are someone who likes to come and visit for more than that, I would suggest looking at the other Magic Key options so that you can book an entire trip at the same time.
There are a
few other perks to look at to see if it's worth it to have a higher-tiered Magic Key pass. For example, would free parking make a big difference in the number of times you visit? Or do you spend a lot on food and merchandise? If the answer is yes, the higher-tiered options may be best!
Jenny Marie, I hope this helps you make a good decision on which Magic Key to choose if you are looking to become a Magic Key holder in the future. Please come back and visit us again if you have any other questions!
