Hello, dear Amy!
I'm so happy for you! Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is always something special to look forward to, and I hope that you're having
a lot of fun choosing cool outfits to rock at the
Theme Parks.
Some experiences may be different in the upcoming weeks, but I know that safety for Cast Members and Guests is
always the guiding star at the Walt Disney World Resort.
So far, the Walt Disney World Resort didn't announce any changes to its
safety protocols and guiding principles. Disney Resort hotel rooms get spotlessly cleaned before every check-in, and Guests are encouraged to distance themselves while at
hotels, Theme Parks, and
Disney Springs.
I have many friends who just came back from the Walt Disney World Resort, and they all told me that they felt safe, especially when dining at
Table Service restaurants with outdoor seating options. Prioritizing these locations is an
excellent strategy if you're still concerned with indoor dining, for example.
The fantastic Disney Park Pass system is currently still in place to ensure that Mickey and his team can manage capacity and attendance at the Theme Parks, and the
new cleaning and disinfecting protocols are also still valid. I think that these are great news for all visitors and
Cast Members since we all need to make a collective effort to protect each other. While they may evolve in the future, these protocols will stay in place as long as they are essential to keep everybody safe.
I genuinely hope that you have a
wonderful and relaxing time at Walt Disney World Resort this fall, dear Amy. Don't forget your masks, and make sure that you take some time to enjoy your
Disney Resort hotel and take advantage of your pool for some downtime!
