Hi there, Danielle! Thanks for visiting us at planDisney with your question. I’m happy to explain how tickets and reservations work.
Every Guest needs both a valid
ticket AND
park reservation for each day they want to visit the parks. At the time you are purchasing a ticket on the
Disneyland website, you have an opportunity to make a park reservation as well. If you purchase your ticket through a 3rd party, you need to link the ticket to your Disneyland account and make a park reservation.
If you are purchasing your ticket through the
Disneyland website, here are the steps to purchase the ticket and make the reservation:
~ Go to the
Disneyland website and click on Parks & Tickets, then select Theme Park Tickets
~ You’ll be asked to select the number of days and number of tickets
~ Then, you’ll be asked to select the ticket type (One Park Per Day or Park Hopper)
~ Once you have made those selections, you’ll see the Choose Your Dates button enabled
~ On the next page you’ll see the park reservation availability calendar, where you can select your dates, and click the Reserve Dates button
~ Continue following the steps for payment
If you have already purchased a ticket, you can go to My Disneyland, Ticket and Reservation Details, Make Park Reservations. There you’ll be able to make a reservation. You can also click View My Park Reservations to check if you already have a reservation.
I hope this is helpful! Please come back and see us if you have any more questions!
The magic awaits,
Kamini
