Hiya, Cara! So happy to have you here at planDisney. It sounds like you are gEARing up for a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth in just a few short weeks!
Planning a day at the
Disneyland Resort does require a bit of pre-planning, so I'm happy to see that you are already thinking ahead to securing your
theme park reservation. If you purchase a
theme park ticket through the Disneyland website, you will make a reservation as part of the process. While reservations can be made at any time, including 30 days ahead or even the day before, you are likely to run into some availability issues the longer you wait to book and the closer you get to your park day. Depending on the time of year and day of the week, theme park reservations can fill up quickly around the 120-day mark. While my crystal ball is not as clear as Madame Leota's and I can't predict if 30 days out will guarantee a reservation, I can tell you that Guests are always changing their plans and the
theme park reservation calendar updates with these modifications. If your date is not originally available, I would continue to check the calendar as reservations can open up! All it takes is a bit of faith, trust, and pixie-dusted patience!
Did you know that you are visiting during the first week of the official holiday season?! The
holidays at the Disneyland Resort kick off on November 11th - you are one lucky reindeer! Prepare for the parks to be full of festive fun from
A Christmas Fantasy Parade strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. (I can hear the first few beats of the theme song now!) to
World of Color - Seasons of Light over at Disney California Adventure Park. One of my favorite things to do is to dedicate a day to explore all the celebrations and culinary delights of the
Disney Festival of the Holidays, which honors holidays around the world! I highly recommend getting the
Sip and Savor Pass which gives you 8 tabs to enjoy 8 different tasty bites. Perfect for sharing or enjoying on your own!
Cara, merry magic awaits! If you have any more questions about your planning, be sure to come back to see us. We are always here for you at
planDisney!
Be merry,
Tara
