Hello, I have reservations for Thanksgiving week 2020. Since BOG is prix fixe now, can my 11 year old still order off the kids menu? what about for CRT? can she order the kids breakfast or will they force her to order an adult meal that she won't eat?

Hi, Jennifer!  It's always a pleasure to help a fellow Pennsylvanian here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am so excited to hEAR that you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season!  As the mom of two picky eaters, I can tell you that your daughter will have no trouble finding something she likes to eat during your holiday meals.  The Cast Members at Walt Disney World Resort restaurants always go above and beyond to make sure every Guest has a dining experience that's never second best!

While substitutions are always at the Cast Members' discretion, in my experience, it is usually not a problem when my big kids want to order from the children's menu at Walt Disney World Resort restaurants.  Many of our servers have even offered to bring us adult-sized portions of the kids' menu foods.  Just please be aware that at a restaurant with a prix fixe menu, children ages 10 and up will be charged the adult price, even if they order from the kids' menu.

When Walt Disney World Resort first begins to welcome Guests back after the recent closure, certain aspects of our vacations may look a little bit different from what we are used to.  This includes dining experiences.  During the initial reopening period, dining reservations will be able to be made 60 days in advance, rather than the usual 180 days.  I would recommend taking a look at this "Dining: Know Before You Go" page for all of the latest information.

Be Our Guest Restaurant will be one of the dining experiences available when Magic Kingdom Park reopens its gates, however, there will be some modifications made.  Upon reopening, Be Our Guest Restaurant will not be serving breakfast.  Be Our Guest Restaurant will be available for lunch and dinner.  Both meals will be table- service, and the same prix fixe menu will be offered for both lunch and dinner.

When Walt Disney World Resort first reopens, character dining will not be available.  At this time, we do not have an opening date for Cinderella's Royal Table.  I would recommend following the Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest information and updates.

Wishing you a magical and delicious Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
