if I have reservations for teppan edo and or ohanas, and my child is extremely pickey and will not eat what is being served on the menu, can the chefs substitute for a place of chicken nuggets?

    Hi Chrissy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question.

We’ve dined at ‘Ohana with a very picky eater and I’m happy to report that the waiter was able to bring him a plate of chicken nuggets and fries for him  (likely from Capt. Cook’s downstairs) to enjoy during our meal. Please note, however, that he was charged the full child price for his meal and not simply the cost of a plate of chicken nuggets. I’m not sure whether they’re still doing this, but it stands to reason that they still are. Please ask your server what your dining options are when you sit down for your meal.

As for Teppan Edo, I’m not as sure that they’ll be able to accommodate your request as I don’t believe that there is a nearby quick service dining location that serves chicken nuggets, but it’s definitely worth asking. What they might be able to bring your child is something that’s close to chicken nuggets, like the tempura/breaded chicken that is sometimes on the menu at their sister restaurant, Tokyo Dining. Once again, I’d recommend discussing your options with your server when you are seated.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
