Hi there, Amanda!
Thanks so much for your question, I hope you're getting excited for a beautiful day at
Disneyland Park! You'll be visiting during one of the most interesting weeks of the year, in my opinion! I love seeing the transition of the parks between seasons and celebrations, imagining all the magic that happens each night to get the Disneyland Resort ready for the jolliest time of year. I know that some holiday decorations are already sparkling inside Disneyland Park and more are arriving each day. While the official
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort celebrations start on November 10, 2023, I think it's likely that you'll be able to see some decorations during your visit. I would recommend taking any photos of decorations during the day, since it's possible the lights will not be turned on after dark until the celebrations officially start.
I do know that one big Christmas fan has already decked the halls in his own unique style inside Disneyland Park! Jack Skellington delivers brightly wrapped "seasons screamings" to
Haunted Mansion Holiday and he decorates in time for Halloween so he's definitely ready to show you his gingerbread-scented dream for both holidays.
If holiday shopping is on your mind then I have great news for you! I know that lots of holiday items are already available for purchase in the parks and on the
shopDisney website. A special ornament is always one of my favorite souvenirs, so I love that the
Plaza Point shop at Disneyland Park is always full of fun holiday decor to take home. You can even have some items personalized with hand-painted touches by Cast Members!
Do you enjoy peeking behind the scenes? I do!
Check out this Disney Parks Blog about holiday decorations at the Disneyland Resort. And if you're feeling creative then you should try your hand at
Disney Paper Parks and make some holiday decorations of your own! These clever projects are designed by Disney Imagineers, and they're a super fun way to bring a little Disney into your own home.
Amanda, I'm sending all my pixie dust and a holiday wish that you'll get to see some beautiful decorations during your visit.
Let me know if you have other questions, and enjoy your visit!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
