We have reservations at Storytellers (dinner) & DCA for Friday. Since the main entrance into GCH from DCA is closed for construction & we're not staying at the hotel, will we be allowed to use the Pixar Pier entrance to access the venue?

Hi there, Lorelei! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you stopped by!

Storytellers Cafe is one of my family's favorite places to eat at the Disneyland Resort. The all-you-care-enjoy meal fills everyone's belly. Did you know that Storytellers also usually has additional items, like certain soups and chicken fingers, that aren't offered at the buffet? Be sure to ask your server while you are there!

Lorelei, if you are leaving California Adventure Park to head to your dining reservation, you can use the Pixar Pier entrance to the hotel. However, you might need a room key to access the pedestrian walkway up to the hotel. If you get stuck, you can always reenter the Downton Disney District entrance by crossing Disneyland Drive and entering through the security checkpoint by the Disneyland Hotel. Also, Cast Member Troy let me know today that if you are ready to head back into the theme park after dinner, you will need to use the Main Entrance, as the entrance alongside the Grand Californian Hotel is reserved for Disneyland Resort hotel guests with a room card.

There are a few days left to enjoy the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. Be sure to check out the foodie guide for the event in case you need a snack (or two!) throughout the day. The Snickers Mickey Macaron is one of my all-time favorite treats at the resort!

I hope this information helps, Lorelei. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I would love to help!

    See ya real soon,
    Melissa
