Well, hey there, Leonard! Welcome to planDisney! Having you here is just the bees' knees!
As a Louisiana girl, I absolutely
loved my stay at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside a few months ago, and I can't wait for you to enjoy yours, Leonard! I felt right at home strolling through the bayous, seeing the stately mansions and enjoying delicious
Cajun and Creole cuisine. Fortunately, the only thing missing was the mosquitoes! Now, let's dig a little deeper into how you can book a room in the beautiful Magnolia Bend.
If you'd like to stay in the Magnolia Bend section of Riverside, I recommend booking a Royal Guest Room, a Standard View room, or a Woods View room. These room types are located in one of the four buildings of Magnolia Bend. When you're booking your room, just be sure to avoid booking any of the 5th Sleeper rooms or a Preferred Room, as these rooms are not located in Magnolia Bend.
There are also some King Bed, Pool View and Riverview rooms in Magnolia Bend, but they are also located in other sections of the Resort, so it is not guaranteed that your room will be in Magnolia Bend. However, if you book one of these room types, you can add a request for Magnolia Bend by
calling a helpful Cast Member with Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. Just keep in mind that requests are based on availability and not guaranteed. Happy booking and planning, Leonard! Like Tiana, you're almost there!
Leonard, did you know that you can
fish at this resort?! You can rent your fishing equipment at the Fishin' Hole at Ol' Man Island and enjoy catch-and-release off the dock with an old-fashioned cane pole. It's such a fun and peaceful way to start the best Disney day!
I hope this helps, Leonard, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable stay! Feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way.
Blue skies and sunshine,
Mandy
