Hello, Jared, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for your question about parking at
Disney's Contemporary Resort. You've picked a great hotel right in the middle of the magic, and pretty soon you'll be traveling under that gorgeous arch welcoming you to The Most Magical Place on Earth. But first, let's get your parking sorted out.
I'm happy to report that there's nothing you need to do ahead of time to
park your car at your hotel. Parking is complimentary for hotel Guests while staying there. Once you arrive at your hotel, you'll briefly stop at security before entering the premises. The security guard will check your ID and confirm your reservation. Then you'll be directed to proceed to parking if you're choosing self-parking. Alternately, you can choose valet parking for a fee.
When my family drives, we like to head to the front of the hotel to unload our car before parking.
Bell Services will be there to assist and can even store your luggage for you if your room isn't ready yet. Once you're in your room and are ready for your luggage, simply call Bell Services from the phone in your room and ask that your luggage be brought up.
While you're staying at the Contemporary, I hope you'll carve out some time to enjoy the restaurants there.
Chef Mickey's is so iconic and is a great way to kick off what will be a fabulous vacation. And
California Grill has some of the most spectacular views in all of Walt Disney World.
I couldn't help but notice you'll be visiting during
Cool KIDS' SUMMER. This means you get free entry to a Disney Water Park on the day you check into your Disney hotel.
Soarin' Across America will be open at EPCOT as well in celebration of American's 250th anniversary.
