I have reservations to stay at Disney Art of Animation Resort Sept 10th-16th 2012. I was just wondering how the weather generally is during that time of season. Is it still warm enough for pools & water parks and is it part of Hurricane and rainy seaso

    Hi Debby!

September is a great time to visit Walt Disney World.  The crowds will be smaller than the busy summer months and the weather should be a little cooler!  I wrote "should be", because I have been at Walt Disney World in September and October when it was extremely hot and humid!  It will definitely still be warm enough for the water parks and the pools.

I have been to Walt Disney World a lot of times in September and I have had nothing but beautiful weather.  However, there is a chance there could be a storm in the area.  The theme parks will be empty in September if it is raining hard.  If a hurricane comes to the area, you should know that Walt Disney World is one of the safest place to be!  In fact, I know people who live in Orlando that get a room at Walt Disney World when a hurricane is predicted to be in the area, because they feel safer at Walt Disney World (and more likely to have power).

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
