We have reservations at the Sci-Fi Dinner in Hollywood studios for lunch in May. My son is 6. We thought he would love sitting in the cars and getting to watch something while he ate. Are the films scary? Or pretty mild?

    Hi there, Meredith!

The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant is our favorite over at Disney's Hollywood Studios.   Of course every child is different, but my own children have been enjoying the Sc-Fi Dine-In since they could walk!  They always laughed at the kitschy and nostalgic clips from the 1950's era.  I would not say that they are scary at all, more silly than anything.  I hope you and your family enjoy this dining experience as much as we do, Meredith!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan for your exciting vacation.

    Magically yours in 2018,
