We have reservations for SCI FI in Hollywood for 6 people, what type of seating arrangements would we get for 4 adults and 2 children

    Greetings, Patsy!

Welcome to planDisney, it’s so nice to have you. I love Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater. We recently celebrated my son’s birthday with a visit to Hollywood Studios and lunch there. It was such a fun experience. Fun fact, they have dairy-free ice cream there, which was the perfect treat for our birthday boy!

While inside the theater, we found ourselves in a true drive-in theater. We were sitting in a six-seater “car”. Our party consisted of two adults and two kids. So in front of the car we sat our little ones, my husband and I sat in the middle seat, and a separate party of two sat directly behind us.

I also saw a few picnic table options, as well as tables sandwiched between the front and back of a car. The seating depends on availability and party size, so the style you sit in is subject to availability. If you have a seating preference, you can let the host know at the front, and they will try to meet your request, but again, it depends on availability.

My family wasn’t too particular about where we sat because we were fortunate enough to snag this reservation the night before. We honestly were just happy to be dining there for his birthday! I will say my party was divided. My daughter wanted a picnic table, and my son wanted a car with the table in the middle. My sweet husband was just hungry, so he was happy to be sitting and eating. The overall ambiance is what makes this dining experience so much fun!

Depending on how long you are visiting, I also recommend Roundup Rodeo BBQ. My little ones loved dining as one of Andy’s honorary toys. And the family-style meal was so much fun and enjoyable. We were so full at the end of it. Plus, freezing when Andy was around was both challenging and exciting. So if themed dining is your preference, I recommend checking out this restaurant as well.

Patsy, I hope this helps answer your question as you get ready to enjoy a day at Hollywood Studios. Have the best visit, and if there’s anything else we can help with, you know where to find us.

    See ya real soon,
