Hi Diana,
It looks like your school group's trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth is quickly approaching. Eek! I'm so excited for your adventure to begin. Hopefully, you'll be here for the opening of
TRON Lightcycle / Run, which officially goes live on April 4, 2023. It's one of those attractions where having access to PhotoPass downloads will come in handy.
One of the fastest ways to link both your MagicBand and Memory Maker purchases to your tickets is to use this
online linking tool. You can also link other reservations, like dining and Resort hotels, using this method as well.
Another way to pair a MagicBand or
MagicBand+ is by opening your
My Disney Experience app, clicking on the three horizontal lines, and selecting "MagicBands and More." Link it by selecting "Link a MagicBand or Card" to the desired Guest in your party.
With your Memory Maker purchase, you can download the photos of up to 25 members who are on your
Family & Friends list. The cool part is that you'll have access to the photos for 45 days from the day they were taken. This could be very useful for your larger-sized school group. Even if I have my annual pass card or
MagicMobile Pass (via an Apple Watch) with me, I slap on my MagicBand+ just for attractions. Although there are rides that have a spot to scan for photos afterward (like
Space Mountain), some do not and, in my experience, I have a better chance of receiving the photos when I have the MagicBand+ on.
AN EXTRA GEM: Starting last week, if you have purchased Genie+ for your park day (even without Memory Maker), you will automatically receive
digital downloads of your on-ride photos. So, smile big when you get to
Slinky Dog Dash's camera. (By the way, I'm a pro, and I still miss the camera every time--good luck!)
If you have any other questions before, during, or even after your vacation, Diana,
give us a holler here at planDisney!
Magic always,
LeAndra
