I spoke to a very helpful Cast Member about your question, and he did confirm that Mickey Mouse and his pals have been releasing dates for
Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers in smaller waves for the past few months. The Cast Member did not know the reasoning as to why the dates were being released in this way. He just said to check back periodically to see when your preferred dates would be available. Now, the GREAT thing is that I just checked
reservation availability, and I can confirm that reservations are now open for Savi's Workshop through the whole month of November! WOO HOO!
