Hi there, Ashley, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're planning an exciting Walt Disney World Resort getaway to ring in the new year! There's no place the Most Magical Place on Earth to celebrate a holiday!
Ashley, it sounds like you've searched high and low for a definitive answer to your question. I did some research as well and also reached out to a Cast Member about the New Year's Eve
Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package. The Cast Member told me that the dining experience should take about 90 minutes. If your reservation is at 8:30 pm, that means you'll be finishing up around 10:00 pm. You're correct about the current
posted times of the fireworks that night: you can expect to see
Luminous The Symphony of Us at 6:30 pm and Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration at 11:54 pm. With no fireworks shows scheduled during your dining window, neither the Cast Member nor I can confirm that you'll be seated at your table to see them. The Cast Member recommended that you ask the host or hostess for details when you arrive.
I realize that isn't incredibly helpful as you make your plans between now and then. I do, however, want to put your mind at ease. If you've booked and paid for a Fireworks Dining Package, I think it's safe to say that the restaurant will have a plan for you to see some fireworks. This might come in the form of a return pass to a designated area or some other lovely solution. It's difficult to say at this time what the plan might be. If you find that you don't receive the package that you booked, according to the description on the reservation, I recommend heading to Guest Services and politely explaining the situation, kindly asking if a modification can be made. At this time, there is no availability to Fireworks Dining Packages, but you can absolutely keep checking back from time to time to see if other times become available. Often, Guests will modify their plans as their Advance Dining Reservations draw near.
Ashley, I hope this gives you a bit of peace about your plans for New Year's Eve. EPCOT is one of my favorite places to ring in the new year, and I know you'll have a blast! Be sure to pack your comfy shoes, lots of patience, and a sense of humor. You'll want to arrive early and plan to stay the entire day. Take advantage of Lightning Lanes and remember that New Year's Eve is a marathon, not a sprint!
Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you continue to count down to your vacation and 2025!
Cheers!
Jennifer
