    Can you make reservations to ride Characters in Flight in Downtown Disney??

    Hi Katie,

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question. The Characters in Flight balloon at Downtown Disney does not accept reservations. The balloon, which rises to about 400 feet on a tether, usually operates from early morning until late evening, weather permitting. The view of the vast Disney property from that height is pretty amazing.

    There is often little or no wait earlier in the day, when the Downtown Disney West Side is less crowded.

    I hope you can easily work a flight into your schedule. It is a unique experience. Enjoy!
