Do you have to make reservations at the restaurants or can you just walk up and hope you get a seat? I really don't know where we want to eat at. Am confused about where to even begin planning.

Hi Kelly I know choosing dining locations can be confusing!  I suggest you plan your days in the parks and then look over the restaurants for the parks and those that might be located in nearby resorts and select your favorites.  I try to get one advanced dining reservation for each day to assure that I will have a relaxing and leisurely meal.  During peak times it will be almost impossible to get a table at some of the favorite restaurants or at least at normal dining hours by walking up.

You can see a nice list of dining locations and sample menus and prices by going to www.allears.net and typing MENUS in the search box.  This might help you find those that you believe your family would enjoy dining in.  Some of the most unique restaurants are located in resorts and it is often a fun way to see a resort you might consider staying at during the next visit.  Planning a Disney trip is like a puzzle and once you start you will see all the pieces falling into place and a great vacation will be the result!
