How do I make reservations at restaurants

    Heigh-Ho, Rob! Welcome to planDisney!

Well, we've started on the right foot as I could talk about dining at The Most Magical Place on Earth all day! Making advance dining reservations is a great way to have some things on your schedule without over-planning. So without further ado, it's off to work we go!

In my opinion, the easiest and most convenient way to make dining reservations is using the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Start by opening the app and tapping the plus sign on the bottom menu bar. From the menu, select "Check Dining Availability." You'll be prompted to input the number of Guests who will be dining, then select a date. You can then choose from the meal you'd like to have (breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner) or choose a specific time of the day to check for reservations. Once you make that selection, a list of all the available restaurants and times will pop up for you to choose from.

Rob, if there is a specific restaurant you'd like to dine at, you can use the search feature in the My Disney Experience Mobile App to type in the restaurant name and find its dedicated page. Once you're there, select "Reserve Dining." Input your party size, date and meal time and select from the available times to enjoy your dream meal!

You can also make advance dining reservations using The Walt Disney World Resort Website. Hover over the "Things to Do" tab and select "Make Reservations" from the drop-down menu. You can choose a specific restaurant or input the date, time and party size to see all of the available dining options.

Finally, you can make dining reservations with a friendly Cast Member over the phone by calling the number listed for Dining Reservations. The Cast Member will likely ask for your preferred dates, party size and meal preferences, as well as if you have any specific restaurant requests. They can check availability right there while you're on the phone to help make your selections!

I hope this helps answer your question today, Rob! There may also be times in the parks or at your Disney Resort Hotel where you may want something quicker than a sit-down, table-service meal. In these cases, you will find a host of quick service options with Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, allowing you to order right from your phone and pick up your meal without waiting in a standard line! I find Mobile Ordering to be one of the handiest Mousketools in all of Walt Disney World!

    Have a magical day,
