Hi there, Christine! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney!
I'm so happy that I get to chat with you today about
dining at Disneyland Resort! From iconic snacks such as
Dole Whip, churros, and Mickey ice cream bars to fine dining at signature restaurants such as
Napa Rose, you're sure to find something to appeal to your taste for adventure.
If you're hoping to dine at any sit-down, table-service restaurants during your visit to Disneyland Resort, reservations are recommended and can be made up to 60 days in advance. You can make a dining reservation on the
Disneyland Resort website. To do so, simply type the name of the restaurant you're looking for in the search bar or click on the restaurant in the list of Disneyland Resort restaurants found under the "Things to Do" heading at the top of the page. Once you've navigated to the restaurant's page, you can click the blue "Check Availability" button and follow the prompts to book your reservation.
Dining reservations can also be made using your
Disneyland mobile app. When you open your app, click on the plus sign at the bottom of your screen. This will bring up a menu from which you can select "Check Dining Availability," and then simply follow the prompts to make a reservation.
If you need some restaurant recommendations, my family and I love
Lamplight Lounge in
Disney California Adventure Park. Lamplight Lounge boasts a phenomenal view of Pixar Pier, and the food and cocktails are just as good as the view. Be sure to try the lobster nachos! Over in
Disneyland Park, Carnation Cafe is one of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat.
Carnation Cafe is known for its classic comfort food, including some of Walt's favorite dishes. If you're seated outside, you'll be able to enjoy the tasty menu items such as fried pickles while taking in the atmosphere of Main Street, U.S.A.
I hope you enjoy your Disneyland dining, Christine! See ya real soon!
