Hey there, hi there, Molly. It's my pleasure to welcome you to planDisney today - thanks for bringing us your question.
Dining at Walt Disney World is one of the best aspects of the magical experience.
When making Advanced Dining reservations, you will be asked for credit card details but rest assured, no payment is taken at this time. These details are stored as part of the booking policy. There is a 2-hour cancellation policy, meaning you must cancel at least 2 hours before the dining reservation time to avoid a $10 per person cancellation fee (at the time of writing). If you fail to cancel at least 2 hours prior, the credit card provided at the time of the reservation will be charged $10 per person (fee subject to change).
If you enjoy a booked dining experience, you will simply pay for that meal when complete, using your preferred payment method.
Disney Resort hotel guests can book dining reservations 60 days before arrival. I find the easiest way to make reservations is through the My Disney Experience App - a tool worth familiarising yourself with ahead of your trip.
Space 220 Restaurant at EPCOT offers a truly out-of-this-world experience, and that's before you even arrive at your table!
I hope this information helps Molly! There are so many delectable dining delights at Walt Disney World that you'll be spoilt for choice. I wish you a magical time on your Walt Disney World adventure, Louise.
