Welcome to planDisney Natalie. Thanks for stopping by I will be happy to help.
Turning over to the next year at
Walt Disney World is on my bucket list and I have a couple of ideas I would like to share. While there are no official plans or announcements for ringing in the new year just yet, you will want to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for updates.
In years past these nights do not require a special ticket, and you already have reservations makes it even better.
Magic Kingdom Park is quintessential Disney and is never a bad idea. This is my recommendation if you have children. If you have older children you may want to make a change. When I think of NYE at Disney, I think of all the awesome dance parties and DJs spread through
EPCOT. If you wanted to modify your plans for which park to be inside this would be the only change I would make. Each year is different and the announcements will come but watching years past on social media shows some pretty awesome experiences to be had. The EPCOT NYE tends to be geared towards adults and young adults. I recently checked for availability and EPCOT is currently available. So if you plan on making changes now is the time.
If you are not making a change Magic Kingdom Park is the perfect place and the fireworks that coincide from years past are nothing short of legendary. That is usually what we watch inside of my home to count down the new year with my family. Make sure to get a comfortable spot before the fireworks. That spot may not always be right in front of the castle. One of my favorite locations to watch is near the
Main Street U.S.A. Train Station. The view down Main Street is always iconic and is even more so when fireworks are lighting up the skies above
Cinderella Castle.
Hopefully, this information gives you an idea of what happens at each location, and find the New Year's Eve celebration that fits your Disney style. Visit us again at

Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
