Hiya Matthew,
Welcome back to planDisney! As a super planner, nothing is more exciting (and nerve-wracking) to me than the night before my 60-day reservation window opens up. I spend a lot of time carefully making a list of all the things I want to eat and experience, and I can’t wait to start seeing the reservations pop up in My Disney Experience. Also, that means I’m almost back at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
As you said, tomorrow begins your window to start booking your advanced dining reservations, and great news; this also is the same for experiences from the
Enchanting Extras Collection, such as
Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers and
Droid Depot. Beginning at 5:45 am, you should be able to start making reservations for both!
Now, I know you didn’t ask for tips on making these reservations, but I can’t help myself:
1. List all your experiences and dining that you want to make reservations for and sort them by priority. In my experience, the more popular the experience, the quicker those reservations fill up when the 60-day window opens. If you can’t be flexible with your schedule, make sure to try to make your reservations for the most popular experiences, such as Savi’s or breakfast at
Topolino’s Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera, first before reserving others.
2. Have both your mobile device and computer handy. I’ve found in the past that when the online reservation is experiencing delays, the
My Disney Experience mobile app is working perfectly and vice versa.
3. Make it a family (or friend) affair if you can. My Prince Charming and I split our wish list in half and divide and conquer, making reservations. Since we are linked through our
Family and Friends list, we can make reservations for both of us while ensuring we can do everything we want during our visit.
I hope this was helpful, Matthew, and that you can make all of your reservations for your trip. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
