    I have reservations for a Resort. We want to arrive earlier than Check-in allows. How can we get our "cards" to access Magic Kingdom? Can we go to the front desk?

    Welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you stopped by with your question. It sounds like you’re already counting down the minutes until your magical arrival at Walt Disney World Resort!

    Here’s the enchanting news: even if your Disney Resort hotel room isn’t quite ready yet, you can absolutely begin your adventure the moment you arrive! Once you check in at the Front Desk or use the Online Check-In feature through the My Disney Experience app, your reservation is activated. The magic starts as soon as you set foot in the most magical place on earth! 

    Donna, if you plan to use a Key to the World card for park entry, you can pick it up at the Front Desk as soon as you arrive at your Resort. Just let a friendly Cast Member know you’d like to grab your cards so you can enjoy your day at Magic Kingdom, and they’ll be happy to help.

    However, if you have a MagicBand, you can tap and go!  Or you can use the Disney MagicMobile service on your smartphone, which works similarly. Both are linked to your My Disney Experience account and work like, well… magic!
