How do I make reservations and are they still required I’ve got my tickets already

Hi Ken! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for bringing this question to us. Your visit to the Disneyland Resort will be here before you know it. It won't be long until you're passing through the entry where you will leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy. So let's make sure you're all set for your big adventure!

A valid theme park ticket and theme park reservation are required for entrance into both theme parks at the Disneyland Resort. If you purchased your tickets at the Disneyland site or through the Disneyland app, you were prompted to select the dates of your visit which also created a theme park reservation for you.

It never hurts to be extra sure that this is the case for added assurance and we can double-check this. Open the Disneyland app and tap on the "☰" icon in the lower right corner to open the menu. Next, tap on the "Future Plans" tile. Here you will find a list of any confirmed theme park reservations. This can also be found at the Disneyland site by navigating to "My Plans" found under the heading "My Disneyland" towards the top right. As long as you see your theme park reservations listed here you are good to go.

If you do not have a theme park reservation, you will first link your ticket to your Disney account. Open the Disneyland app and tap on the "☰" icon to open the menu. Tap on the "Ticket and Passes" tile followed by the "+" in the upper right. Next, tap on "Link Tickets & Passes" and manually type in the ticket ID number or use the "Camera" function to scan the barcode. Once your ticket has been linked to your account, you can now make a theme park reservation.

Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort will be in full force at the time of your visit. The resort will be dressed up in all of its fall adornments and the characters will don their spooktacular costumes. Something I look forward to the most during this time of year is the giant Mickey pumpkin that greets you at the top of Main Street, U.S.A. As you walk towards Sleeping Beauty Castle, remember to look back to see another side (and face) of the giant Mickey pumpkin (wink, wink).

Ken, I hope this has been helpful and gives you the steps to confirm your reservation for your magical visit. Please come back to visit us with any other questions that you might think of. Until then, I wish you a ghoulishly good time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
