Are reservations still required or can we show up and purchase tickets the day of to Disneyland

    Hiya, Enriqueta! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy! Can you believe that you're only a few days away from your magical trip to the Happiest Place on Earth? I'm so excited for you! But before we can get you standing in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, let's talk about tickets.

Enriqueta, yes – Guests still are required to make park reservations when visiting the Disneyland Resort. Take a look at the Know Before You Go page, specifically the "What You'll Need" section. Since park reservations are subject to availability, I would recommend purchasing your tickets and making your park reservations as soon as possible. At this time, it appears as though several dates in October are currently sold out. Take a peek at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see which parks are available during the dates of your trip! My best tip would be to purchase a Park Hopper ticket, then make your park reservation for the first park you'd like to visit. The great thing about Park Hopper tickets is that you'll still be able to experience both parks! For example, if you make your park reservation for Disney California Adventure Park, you'll be able to enter Disneyland Park after 1:00 PM. This is a great way to maximize the magic!

I'm sending you all the faith, trust, and pixie dust that you have the BEST. DAY. EVER. on your upcoming trip! If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again.

    See ya real soon!
