I have reservations at Rainforest Cafe for 3:30 on the day I check in. Can I go straight to the restaurant or do I need to check in at my resort for my dining plan to be active?

    Hi Kimberly,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. My Jedi senses tell me that your vacation is less than 6 months away. Awesome! Well, maybe it's the fact that you can make advanced dining reservations up to 180 days in advance.

You'll be transported right to the middle of the jungle while you enjoy a delicious meal at both Rainforest Cafe at Disney Springs Marketplace and Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Select Disney Dining Plans are accepted at both locations, and reservations are recommended.

In order to activate your Theme Park Tickets and Disney Dining Plan meals part of your Magic Your Way Vacation Package, you do need to Check-In to your Resort Hotel first. Here's where Online Check-In is a great choice, and you may be offered Direct-to-Room option, which would allow you to go directly to your reservation or Theme Parks.

One last tip: FastPass+ lets you reserve up to three attractions per day and you can make them starting 60 days before arrival; one of the many Disney Resort Hotel Guest Benefits. Happy planning!
