    I have reservations at Rainforest Cafe (AK) for 7:30 pm. If the park closes at 7:00, will there be buses available when we are done dining?

    Hi Bryan,

    I went through this very same scenario a couple of trips ago and now I can safely tell you from my experience that there will be a bus there for you regardless.  My daughter and I closed the Park and went into Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom for some dinner (we were there approximately 1 1/2 hours and all of the buses had stopped according to what they tell you "WDW transportation will operate up to one hour prior to Park opening and up to one hour after Park closing".  I was starting to get worried that we would have to get a cab back to our hotel as we were the only one's left in the restaurant.  At that very worrying moment for me, a bus driver came into the restaurant, approached our table and asked if we were needing the bus back to our Resort?  I told him yes, and started to "hurry up" and he told me to take my time, that he would wait for us to finish.  I couldn't believe it!  We didn't want him to wait, so we did hurry up and settled our bill and headed out to the bus where he was waiting just for us.....unbelievable!  When we were sitting on the bus (the only ones there), he told us that no matter what the situation, the buses will not stop for the evening until every single guest has been accommodated and transferred back to their WDW Resort if they need bus transportation.

    So, there you go, no need to worry.  You will be able to get back to your Resort, but I would probably let the staff inside of Rainforest Cafe know that you will be needing transportation back to your Resort, so they can let them know ahead of time that they will have a guest who needs this request at the end of the evening when they close.
