    We have reservations at the "por". When requesting a certain room or location (near bus) is it better to request that ahead of time (how?) or during check-in?

    Hi Jason!

    This is a great question.

    I assume by POR you mean Port Orleans Riverside.  If that is the case, I think you made a great choice.  Port Orleans Riverside is my favorite Disney Moderate Resort.  I particularly like the Alligator Bayou section of the resort.

    I suggest putting in your room request right away.  Since you already have a reservation, you should just call Disney with your reservation number and request that you be located near a bus stop.  Some guests like to request a particular building or room number, but instead I suggest requesting what is really important for you.  For example, you can request something like our highest priority is being near a bus stop, followed by being near the main swimming pool.  That gives the Disney Cast Member trying to help you more flexibility in meeting your request.

    Then at check-in you should restate your request.  It  won't be too late!  I hope this helps, and please write back with more questions!
