We have reservations for the Pop Century Resort in May. My question is what is the simplest way to travel from Pop Century to the Magic Kingdom? We are bringing my two year old grandson and probably be at the Magic Kingdom a lot.

Hi there, Michael. You guys are going to have such a fun time staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort. May will be here before you know it!

It is really quite easy to get from Disney's Pop Century Resort to Magic Kingdom Park. What you are going to do is head to the main bus stop area for your resort outside near the lobby. There will be different complimentary buses available to take you to the different Walt Disney World Theme Parks. When you see a bus marked for Magic Kingdom Park arrive, you'll hop on board and be whisked away to your destination. To return to Disney's Pop Century Resort after you've had your fill at Magic Kingdom Park, you'll head back out to that bus stop area and look for the bus stop that will take you back to your resort. The bus ride itself is only about 10-15 minutes each way depending on traffic. Getting to and from Magic Kingdom Park from your resort is very straightforward and I know you won't have any trouble. Buses start running each morning about 45 minutes to the respective park opening and continue running at least 1 hour after the park closes. To help promote physical distancing, the number of people on a bus at one time is being limited so I would give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination just in case there is a long line for the bus.

Another fun mode of transportation from Disney's Pop Century is the new Disney Skyliner which opened in the fall of 2019. Although you cannot travel to Magic Kingdom Park from the resort you can get to several fun destinations. From Disney's Pop Century Resort the Disney Skyliner can connect you to Disney's Hollywood Studios, Epcot via the International Gateway and resorts like Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney's Riviera Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Whether or not you plan to visit any of these parks or resorts, I highly encourage you to take a ride anyway. Your 2-year-old grandson will absolutely be thrilled to take a ride high in the sky and have a birds-eye view of some of the Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope you all have a great time staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort. Be sure to have your camera out and ready while you are walking around, there are so many cute photo spots around the resort. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to come back and ask me

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
