We have reservations at Pop Century in a preferred room. I see that a standard room in Art of Animation is open My daughter loves the Little Mermaid, but we don't want to add a long walk to the food court and bus stop. Will the walk be a lot further ?

Hi Lisa! Choosing a Disney resort is always hard because they all have something special to offer the guests.

The Art of Animation resort is Disney's newest so there are many guests wanting to visit there. Most of the buildings are the new Family Suites with one area, Little Mermaid, having the traditional rooms. Pop Century is certainly a great resort as well and it remains my favorite Value choice. If you have a preferred room booked there I suggest you keep that reservation since long walks are not favorable. A preferred room will likely find you in a building close to the food court and bus area at Pop Century. The Little Mermaid rooms will be a bit of a walk to both of those locations at the Art of Animation resort.

I suggest during your stay at Pop Century that you take time to walk over the bridge to visit the Art of Animation and look at the setup and location of the different buildings. Once you see the area you can decide if it is a place you would consider on a future Disney vacation.

    Enjoy the countdown to vacation!
