We have reservations at the Polynesian Resort May 22-26. If I buy park passes from a source other than Disney can I still purchase the dining plan or must I purchase park passes and dining plan together through disney? Thanks for your help!

Hi Kathy! How exciting that you'll be at the Polynesian in just about a month from now!

Like you, I enjoy shopping around to try to find the best deal on park tickets, but if you want to purchase the Disney Dining Plan, you must buy your park passes from Disney. The Dining Plan is available only by purchasing a Magic Your Way Package that includes a Disney hotel and park passes. (If you already have your park tickets, you can add one-day passes to your resort reservation in order to purchase the Dining Plan, but you'd need to pull out the calculator and determine if that would save you money. Generally, on a short trip like yours, it doesn't, in my opinion.)

Hope this helps! Have a wonderful time in May!
