Aloha, Rosalie!
Welcome to planDisney. I am so excited that see that you and your Ohana will be staying at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This is my favorite Disney Resort hotel. Each time I visit I find more to love. The second I enter the lobby it feels like home.
The Spirt of Aloha Dinner Show is so unique and fun, making it a memorable family dining experience. I would find myself asking the same question. The Walt Disney World Resort is in a phased reopening, and some restaurants and
dining experiences are currently unavailable. Sadly, this particular show is one of them. Auntie Wini is still working hard to make sure the dancers are ready to perform and the luau food is cooked to perfection. So we might be waiting a little while longer for this one-of-a-kind experience that she is putting together for those of us visiting from "the mainland". Rosalie, I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog. News about restaurants reopening, new attractions and exciting upcoming events are announced on the blog and on the
Walt Disney World website. Should Spirit of Aloha reopen before your arrival, you will be able to book your trip to Luau Cove online, 60 days in advance.
If you would like a great alternative with a Polynesian theme, I highly recommend dinner at
Ohana. The name says it all. Dinner is served family-style, and the views of Cinderella Castle can make this dinner magical. Request a table by the window and order extra noodles, they're delicious!
I hope that your upcoming trip is full of island vibes and magical memories.
Be sure to grab a DOLE Whip and take in the evening fireworks from a beach chair for me!
