Can you make reservations at the Polite Pig in Disney Springs?

    Hi Linda,

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question about one of my favorite topics: dining at Walt Disney World.

The Polite Pig is a tasty choice for a fast casual meal at Disney Springs. The restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of the Town Center, near the fountain and the escalator from the Lime Garage. It's been on my family's list of top choices since it opened almost a decade ago.

The restaurant is considered quick service, so no reservations are needed or accepted. Even though the line can look long, it usually moves quickly, and we've never had issues finding a seat. If you are worried about it being crowded, I suggest going for an early or late lunch or dinner to avoid the mealtime crowds.

My husband and I often share the butcher board for two so that we get a sample of lots of the Polite Pig's fare. Our vegetarian daughter can make a meal of the side dishes, including the creamy mac and cheese, the BBQ cauliflower and the grilled street corn.

And we all like sampling the variety of batched cocktails and craft brews that the Polite Pig offers.

If you have any room left after a meal at the Polite Pig, I recommend a gelato from the nearby Vivoli (I'm partial to the pistachio) or a dessert from Amorette's Patisserie (I can never say no to a creme brulee) to round out your Disney Springs dining experience.

Thanks again for your question, Linda, and come back to planDisney any time if we can help with your Walt Disney World vacation planning.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
