    Have reservations at POFQ 12-18-10 thru 12-22-10 read on another website they are currently renovating rooms. Is this true and if so when is it due to be complete stayed at CS after there renovation and rooms where really nice. Thanks.

    Hi Kelly!

    They are currently renovating the rooms there and I read somewhere that Port Orleans French Quarter will not be finished until around April of 2011.  Of course, that date is subject to change...you know how renovations go!! Since they divide the work up by buildings, when you stay there it shouldn't inconvenience you or cause an unruly eyesore! I've always been impressed with Disney World's ability to improve and update while remaining open and beautiful.

    I know that they've finished with Building #7 and the first Guest reports that I've seen online have been great! The new decor is very upscale and in keeping with the lovely atmosphere of POFQ. 

    Port Orleans French Quarter is my favorite Resort in Disney World and I'm really excited about staying in these newly redone rooms! I think this Resort feels like a deluxe Resort and I recommend it often.
