I have reservations at 9:00pm on 2/12/11 at Artist's Point at the Wilderness Lodge. We are staying at the Polynesian and I wanted to know the best way to get there and how long this will take? Will we have time to watch the fireworks from the beach before?

    Hello Debbie!

Artist Point in the Wilderness Lodge is an amazing dining experience.  I had the privilege of dining there last June with some of my fellow Moms Panel Moms and the dinner was so incredible that I was speechless!  From the Polynesian Resort you can take the Resort Monorail to the Magic Kingdom and then transfer to a bus or boat that is going to the Wilderness Lodge.  This trip will take you 30 to 45 min depending on how long you have to wait for transportation to arrive at each segment of your trip.  It may be possible to watch Wishes from the Polynesian Beach (on 2/12/2011 Wishes is currently scheduled to start at 8:00 pm) and still make it to your dinner at Artist Point by using Disney transportation, but it will be very tight.  If you are pressed for time after viewing Wishes from the Polynesian Beach, you can take a taxi directly from the Polynesian Resort to the Wilderness Lodge Resort.  This trip by taxi is around 15 minutes and typically costs under $20.00 including tip.

I hope that you have a magical and memorable dinner at Artist Point in Wilderness Lodge on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
