Hello! If I have reservations at 7:20 at The Plaza restaurant at Mk WDW for March 8th will I be able to stay until and through the whole fireworks show at my table or does the restaurant close at 8pm with the park? Or do just the rides close at 8pm?

Hello Harrison!

Wow, it is so exciting that your Walt Disney World vacation begins soon! You have selected a fabulous Magic Kingdom restaurant to experience. The Plaza Restaurant is one of my favorite table service restaurants in the Magic Kingdom!

As long as your Advanced Dining Reservation is before the scheduled park closing time, you are free to finish your dinner without feeling rushed. This has been my experience, and I have never been rushed out of a Walt Disney World restaurant because it was closing time for the park.

I would recommend that you request to sit near the windows that face Cinderella's Castle when you check in to the Plaza Restaurant (your request will be based on the availability of those tables near the windows, and you may have to wait longer for a table to become available). Keep in mind that there is no clear view of Cinderella Castle from these windows because of outdoor seating tables with umbrellas and some trees that obstruct a clear view. You may be able to catch glimpses of some fireworks bursts but may not be able to see the projections on Cinderella Castle based on my experiences.
