We have reservations at the Plaza Restaurant for lunch. I'm wondering if you can order from the Plaza Ice Cream shop from the restaurant.

Hello Kelly! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My favorite item that I ordered at The Plaza Restaurant in Magic Kingdom during our recent Advanced Dining Reservations was the All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Milk Shake. Having feasted on delectable treats at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor many times in the past, I was not surprised that an ice cream treat would be the standout.

Despite sharing similar names, The Plaza Restaurant and Plaza Ice Cream Parlor have separate menus. You are not able to purchase any items from the other menus at a particular Dining Locations. What surprised me the most was that you cannot even get the All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Milk Shake at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor.

Since Plaza Ice Cream Parlor focuses on treats and desserts, I recommend that you dine at The Plaza Restaurant for your main course and then head over to Plaza Ice Cream Parlor for dessert. That is if you can forego the Butterscotch Bread Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream!

If you are using the Disney Dining Plan and are planning to redeem Table Service meal credits at The Plaza Restaurant, you will be limited to the desserts listed on The Plaza Restaurant menu. Disney Dining Plans are not accepted at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor!

    Bon Appétit!
