We have reservations for the Plaza Inn at 7:30 on 4/25/2020. We will be in the Park before it opens? Is there an earlier time we can get in the park for dining before the park opens? Is there a another restaurant in park that is opens before the park open

Greetings, Dorothy, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you’re hEAR! Your Disneyland Resort getaway will be hEAR before you know it, and I couldn’t be more excited for you!

You’re going to love Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park inside Disneyland Park! It’s definitely my favorite Character Dining experience at the Disneyland Resort. Not only are the Character interactions and food top-notch, but it’s the only Character Dining experience offered inside the Disneyland Resort theme parks. I’m glad to hEAR you nabbed an early reservation, since it allows you early access into Disneyland Park. Official Park Hours for Friday, April 24 haven’t been released yet (the calendar is updated about six weeks ahead) so I recommend checking back next week to discover the official schedule for your day of arrival.

Based off the previous week’s schedule, I’m guessing Disneyland Park may open around 8:00 AM, which means your reservation would allow you to enter before the park opens to the public. If that’s the case, here’s how it works: When you arrive at the Disneyland Park Main Entrance, there should be a Cast Member holding a sign for Dining Reservations. You can typically find this Cast Member located off to one side of the Main Entrance gates. If you have any trouble finding this Cast Member, simply ask any Cast Member at the Main Entrance gates where Guests with reservations should line up for entry. Once you find the appropriate Cast Member, they will confirm your reservation and allow you into the Disneyland Park, so you can head to the Plaza Inn for your scrumptious breakfast!

Once you’re done with your meal and meet-and-greets, it’s off to the park you go! You’ll already be at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., so you’ll be ahead of the game when the park opens to the general public. I also recommend checking out the Entertainment Schedule (once it’s updated next week) for your day of arrival, so you can start mapping out your magical plans. You’ll have a great chance of crossing off many of your “must-do” attractions during the first two hours of park opening, so take advantage of this special time!

Last but not least, I highly recommend downloading the Disneyland app, which is a great handy helper for checking wait times, finding favorite Characters, making dining reservations, and even mobile ordering food and drinks. The app is also the perfect tool for using Disney MaxPass, which allows you to make digital Disney FASTPASS selections from your phone!

Wishing you a delicious, memorable breakfast, and many more magical adventures at the Happiest Place on Earth, Dorothy!
