I'm glad to know you've already purchased your
theme park tickets and made your park reservations for your next visit to Disneyland Resort. I'm sorry to hear that your friend is unable to attend as you had originally planned, but please don't worry because I know how important flexibility is when you're planning your vacation. First, you should know that Disneyland Resort theme park tickets are officially assigned to a Guest at the time they are scanned at park entry. A Cast Member will take a photo of the Guest, and at that point, the ticket can no longer be reassigned. So, there is technically no need to change the original name on the ticket so that your friend can use it.
However, I often prefer to reassign the ticket to the correct Guest's name so that I can keep them well-organized in my Disney account. It is no problem to request a name change on your ticket by using either the "Chat with Us" function in the
official Disneyland mobile app or by calling the
Tickets line and speaking with a Cast Member by phone. I recommend having the ticket ID number on hand to help with this process. It should be listed in the email confirmation you received at the time of your ticket purchase.
