How do I make reservations for 6 people-ok to be at 2 separate tables-at Minnie & friends charachter breakfast in Plaza Inn? They won’t take 6 people and if I try to make 2 separate reservations, they say they will cancel one. Help!

    Hi Vivian,

    Thanks for visiting planDisney!

Making dining reservations for a larger group is a fine art. The Plaza Inn character breakfast is super popular, so getting a reservation for a party of six may be a bit tricky. But don’t worry, I’m here to help give you an edge in securing a reservation for you and your party.

    1) Split your reservation into two groups

If you’ve had some success booking a reservation for three guests, you may have better luck trying to make two smaller reservations. To do this, you'll need someone else in your party to make the second reservation for the same date and time (you can't have overlapping reservations on a single MyDisney account).

When you arrive at the Plaza Inn, let the Cast Member at check-in know that you’re actually one larger group. While it's not guaranteed, they will do their best to seat you all together or close by.

    2) Keep checking back for openings

If you're unable to secure a reservation right away, don’t be discouraged! Plans often change, and people cancel. So keep checking the Disneyland app or website for last-minute availability. Spots can open up at any time, especially the day before.

I hope this information is helpful, Vivian! If you have any other questions or need more planning tips, feel free to write back to me or one of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’d be happy to help.

    Happy dining!
