Hello Daniela,
Welcome to
planDisney! Thank you for sending your question to us. I would be pleased to assist with your upcoming adventure to the
Most Magical Place on Earth. Let's get going!
There is nothing quite like the Christmas season at Walt Disney World. All of the theme parks, resort hotels, and Disney Springs are dressed up in their holiday finest. You've chosen two fantastic parks, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and EPCOT, which feature fun celebrations throughout December. Follow
our Instagram account and the
Disney Parks Blog as we await details of this year's holiday events.
You can make restaurant reservations as early as 60 days before you want to dine. At Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Tiffin's Restaurant would be a lovely choice for a special Christmas Eve dinner. This signature dining experience serves adventurous fare in an enchanting setting. For a more casual meal, I love the food and atmosphere at Yak & Yeti™ Restaurant. While neither eatery offers a specific Christmas experience, you'll encounter plenty of decor as you explore the park. I'm hoping the Merry Menagerie returns this year (keep your fingers crossed and stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for information on this unique seasonal entertainment).
New Year's Eve is one of the busiest days of the year in Walt Disney World. I highly recommend making dining reservations in advance for your preferred EPCOT restaurant. EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays ends on December 30th, but on the 31st, you'll still enjoy decorations and a special fireworks show. When it's time to make reservations, a few of my favorite restaurants are Via Napoli (pizza, pasta, salads, and more), Biergarten (an all-you-care-to-enjoy meal that is festive any time of year), and Coral Reef Restaurant (a unique environment with underwater viewing).
I hope this is helpful and that you have a wonderful Christmas in Florida. Keep watching for more details about this year's holiday offerings in Walt Disney World, and please reach out if we can do anything else to make your trip even more magical. Thanks again for stopping by planDisney, and happy holidays!
