When you make reservations, do you have to pay the full price or just a percentage?

Hi, James!   I am going to make a few guesses here:   I am guessing you are asking about booking a Disney Vacation (not just dining reservations) and that you are planning on booking directly through Walt Disney World.

If you are booking a "room only" reservation, you will need to pay a deposit equal to one night's stay.   You will pay the balance upon arrival at your WDW vacation.

If you are booking a "package" including room/tickets/dining, you will need to pay a $200 deposit with the balance due 45 days prior to your magical vacation.

Different rules may apply if booking through a travel agent or other outlets.  Always ask for booking and cancellation policies if you are unsure.

If this is not the information you are looking for, please let me know!  Good luck booking your vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
