Hey there, Janel!
I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question. I see you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a couple of short months. Are you excited yet!?
I'm glad to hear you're thinking about
dining reservations now because you are already within your advanced dining reservation booking window! Guests can make advanced dining reservations 60 days before their Walt Disney World Resort arrival. When you're ready to book your reservations, for your group of seven, you have a couple of options. You can either call (407) 939-3463 with your requests ready or visit the
Walt Disney World Resort dining website to search availability online. Whichever route you choose, please note that you may need to break your reservation up into smaller groups to find availability.
Here's my advice for booking meals together with your large group: If you can't find availability for a party of seven, book two reservations (for a group of three and four) within 15 minutes of one another. Then, when you arrive at the restaurant to check in, notify the Cast Member at the host desk of your situation and ask if it'd be possible to be seated together. While restaurants may not always be able to accommodate you, most will make every effort to ensure your party gets to enjoy the meal together as a group!
Another flexible option for your group would be to utilize
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering and find a that your group can enjoy their meals together. I use this feature often when I travel with a larger group, or a group made up of multiple families. Simply use the My Disney Experience app to place your food order for a designated time, then pick up your food and enjoy wherever you please! This is an easy way to accommodate different tastes, as well.
Janel, I'm wishing you the best of luck with your dining reservations, and hope that your group has a magical and memorable visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please feel free to stop back with any additional vacation planning questions you have - we're happy to help!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
